I wanted to comment on the foot problem. I experienced the same thing at mile 40ish two years ago and the "hot spot" description is accurate. Turns out my shoes were too tight across the widest part; i.e. too narrow. Changed to a larger shoe and leave the front straps a little loose but the top strap tight. Have never had a problem since. Did the 100K with my son yesterday and reall enjoyed it!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
