What's wrong with this picture?

What's wrong with this picture? I'll be very disappointed if the truck drivers don't catch this one, LOL.

I wont give it away, but we have done this to others just to see how long it would take them to figure it out!!! Also putting quarters in between rubber....Hmmmm looks normal enough, unless you uncouple the gladhand and the coin falls out!! LOL I was soooooo bad!!

LOL

When I was still in school the instructors would do that when we went in to eat lunch.

Thank goodness they never did the quarter thing or I guess I would still be sitting there 7 years later on a skid pad in Oklahoma. :) Don't think it ever would have occurred to me to unhook to see if a quarter fell out.

Well ..... aside from the fact that you people over the big pond havn't thrown away glad hands yet ........ we gave up on them and went to bayonette that are goof proofed - 1 X male and 1 X female on each of the truck and trailer(s) ... but I am just winding you up!

There's a story on my personal home page to do with this very thing in ancient history, Gabby, before we got "polarity conscious"!

Lemme see ..... if you hold the handpiece on it WILL supply enough to release the maxis - provided it has PBR brakes. Close enough clue?

:-)

Like Terry and Hedon, I won;t give up the secret ... yet! :-)

Quarters between the rubber--that's just too mean! Although I can think of a couple of people I'd like to try it on.

Actually in this picture, the airlines are hooked up correctly, it's just that some colorblind (or more likely lazy) mechanic put the connectors on backwards then some driver just took a hammer to widen the metal part out instead of taking it back into the shop.

I was too lazy (actually too darned hot) to drag out my tools in Laredo so just pulled it into our NLR shop to have it swapped back. I do wonder how many hooked up backwards though, LOL.

Brute force and ignorence will do it every time, Gabby. Seriously, I even know of some ....... ingenious individul who managed, somehow, to fit LEFT hand threaded nuts on RIGHT hand threaded studs - I would have though that was totally impossible!
