Hello Fourth of July from the United Kingdom! As a surprise my partner arranged to buy a proper American flag and at midnight British time hung it out and snapped a photo of it. Needless to say it created quite a stir amongst the neighbours!
Of course he's also been playing the opening chords of "Born in the USA" every few minutes just to drive me nuts. While I am a fan of Bruce Springsteen, I think Tom Petty and The Hearbreakers "American Girl" is more appropriate today.
