Forgetful

I'm so tired I forgot to list my times. Gun time was around 2:03:9, garmin time was 2:02:29. No idea on chip time yet. Last year's time was 2:16:01 chip and 2:19:38 gun (I was way in the back last year!). A huge p.r. but I was coming down sick during last year's race. Didn't quite hit my goal of 2 hours or just under but considering how I was feeling today I am VERY pleased with the time.

Next month's 1/2 will definitely NOT be a p.r. because I've heard it's much hillier than Little Rock and I hope to be home to do a 10k race on Saturday. The Grand Prix has the 10k and 1/2 back to back so I'll have to choose one to race and use the other as a training run. Since I'm probably not going to get significantly faster I will have to hit as many of the G.P.races as possible to keep my points standing close to where it is now.

Ok, editing this post

Official times are 2:03:22 gun, 2:02:22 chip
20/187 age division
225/1470 females
728/2563
10k time 56:12
9:21 pace

Great job on the race! You would have probably broke 2 if the weather had been cooler. I know it affected me but not as bad as last year.
I heard that they have changed the course some at Hogeye so not as many hills, but the ones they have are big ones. Practice your downhill running....last year I walked up every hill and made up time going down and got a PR somehow. Wish we could be there but we will be out of town that weekend. It is a fun, smaller race.

I am almost scared to come to this blog! I love the sense of achievement you attain, and the joy you obviously get from it and the wonderful descriptions BUT ...... I am terrified that you will give me heart failure just reading it!!!!!!!!!

Hell! I am so fit I can walk to the back of my trailer on every other day! Heh heh!

Seriously - well done! :-)

Indy, I was wondering why you hadn't dropped by to visit, LOL!

This little obsession started when my 20th high school reunion was coming up and I wanted to lose a few pounds. I dunno, just kind of escalated from there, not quite sure what tripped in my brain. Most of our friends think I've lost it ;-)

Thanks for the hugs and the congrats!

Lose a few pounds???????? Hahahahaha
Sure you didn't lose your marbles instead? ROTFL
All jokes aside, I dunno how many pounds you lost, but by the look of the pictures, you best be not losing too many more else you will slip through the drain hole or something similar.
Sheesh! You look like you gotta run around to get wet in the shower!
You are just letting the brotherhood/sisterhood of trucking down - we are confirmed go anywhere so long as it is on wheels people!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding! I honestly admire people like you and Terry so much you wouldn't believe.
I am just bone lazy - just ask Terry. She knows just how lazy I am! She has had the misfortune to have had a little exposure to me. I don't even unload - just pull a lever!
The hugs are ummmmmmm ..... is the word "platonic" appropriate? Some people just impress me from the get go and you are one such person. A very select few get beyond that!!!!! You're married - you won't! ROTFL

Wait a minute ...... did you say 20th High School Reunion????? Meaning you left school 20 years ago???? Rubbish! You LOOK like you left less than 10 years ago (i.e you're in your early 30's at the most)

I know how old LT is and SHE doesn't look it, either!

Indy,
ROTFL!!!!!!! Umm, the few pounds lost was actually 28 as of this morning and the 20th H.S. reunion was supposed to have been in 2007--nobody volunteered to organize it, grrr. Oh, wait a minute, I guess I'm part of the problem there, ha-ha.

And I do use wheels to get around ;-), you should see my brand new road bike!

I just saw your latest header shot thing (I dunno what you call it - the thing at the top of your blog).

You sure wouldn't have been a big girl if you were carrying that 28 lbs STILL!!

You be careful coz any more and you'll be battling to NOT fall through the drainhole! LOL

I used to do a bit of Endurance horse riding but gave it away. You see, the trick is that you're supposed to ride the bloody horse most ofthe way. I spent most of my time falling off the bloody thing and dragging myself back on to it!

I think Endurance sitting is more my speed!
